Awesome fish.

For me it isn't about the size of the fish but the size of the smile. Keegan's first laker, last year on Fat lake.

Not from the B-Dub but still a beauty...

Nice fish brerud! Do you catch many fish over 8 lbs from there? I fished that lake hard once and caught a bunch of little trout.

This laker came from Alaska. I had to take a picture, of a picture so it is hard to see the colors but she was a real handsome fish. I left the mount in Alaska where it belongs. I was hoping to go hog hunting today but I stayed home to shovel snow, grrrrrr!

Walleye Hunter - no, that was the only one. A bunch of little ones and that hog was it. Only fished for 2 days though so not sure if I could say that the lake has a lot of big fish or not. I know there is still one in there.

I have heard rumors of big fish from that lake but you are the first person to provide proof. Apparently it produces some big fish amongst the little ones. Now that you are learning the lake a bit it will be interesting to see if you catch any more like that.

I love that pic. I'd never get my wife to hang onto one. Do you know how long it was? Just curious.

This thread makes me jealous, jealous, jealous. Still have yet to catch a laker anywhere, let alone the BW. I've only really tried twice, once on Oyster in early September (with a depth finder, too) and once on Winchell last Memorial Day, trolling back and forth, back and forth, with deep taildancers, deep 3-way swivel set ups with spinners, spoons... no luck yet :(
