Now that we are almost there, what do folks think?
Typically, minnows are recommended because the water is too cold for leeches.
But this year, Memorial day is later than normal and the ice went out much earlier.
Also, I'd rather take leeches because they are more hardy and I've had great luck fishing with them.
So, is the water warm enough for leeches?

Izzy, Looks like your vote makes it unanimous so far. Leeches seem to be the ticket.
