Any recent reports on Lake Trout or specifically the lakes I mentioned? Anyone? Anyone?
Best time to fish for them? Anyone? How deep? Bueller? Are they coming in shallow at night or early morning? Anyone? Ciscoes, taildancers or daredevils? Anyone? Anyone? Troll or jigging big tubes? Bueller? Bueller?
Seriously, thanks to "anyone" that can provide a little tip or help. Heading in next Wednesday and we are hoping to successfully land our first Laker in the 10 years we have been fishing the BW's.
Spoons white twister tails, taildancers, and jig and ciscoes should work for you, everything will depend on water temp. I personally think they will still be deep so its vital that you have a depthfinder, especially if you havent fished for lakers alot. You will encounter in the early morning fish that come right up to the surface whether or not theres a thermocline, but i think you will be fishing deep.Good luck, and you are fishing some good lakes !

Thanks for the info! We have 3 canoes and 3 different depth/fish finders in each. I was wondering if they would still be deep. I was thinking they would, so thanks for the thoughts. Anyone else get a line wet in the past week?
I went into Duncan today for a few hours after working on some deer stands this weekend. I caught one laker at 65 feet and all of the fish I graphed were 55 to 72 ft deep.
