Has anyone used or salted minnows for fall fishing? Wonder if they would be good for a 10 day trip? Plan on taking some leeches also.

I've had real good luck with salted minnows and a jig in Late September. I always go-out in Late September......at least for the past 42 years. When jigging for Walleyes I really don't think the presentation is any different if the minnow is alive.......I always hook them right through the middle of the head and back through the belly.......
