I was planning a father son trip at the beginning of this year but plans changed when my dad's new wife had to have surgery due to recurring cancer. This wiped out his vacation but at least she was recovering. So we rescheduled our trip for 2017. Just got news again that they have found more spots on her lungs and stomach that they are concerned about. Praying that they are nothing and we can have our father son trip.

Sorry you and your family are facing this again. I know how that feels and always tell myself that the BW will be there, ready for us when we are ready for it. I hope things go well.

Here's hoping things go better for your Dad's wife. And by the way, your dad is a lucky guy to have a son that wants to go on BW trips with him!

Sorry to hear about that. Cancer sucks, I lost my Dad to cancer and I have a couple of different types of cancer myself. Doctor says there not to serious. Skin cancer and some other one. Sending prayers your way. And keep your chin up and keep praying.

The one nice thing that came out of all this was that I was able to bring my mother to the BW for her first time. I think its safe to say she liked it. She's already talking about the next trip. :-)
