Hello! I created a new private group for those of us currently or previously involved in scouting!

The purpose is to share ideas, and experiences with paddle sports to provide the best experience to the youth we help guide.

Expanding their horizons with the BW and beyond!

Anyone can join!

Sounds good. I got my start in Canoeing through the Scouts. I went to Summer camp in the Adirondacks for 6 years, mostly hiking treks, not canoe trips. :( My District organized a Canoe Program where we learned skills, both on the water and in the classroom year round. We even made our own paddles.
Remember the phrase "Scouting Rounds Guy Out"? So true.

Awesome! I went through cub scouts as a kid but our town had no boy scout troop so it kind of ended for me there. Now that I have boys of my own we are pretty heavy into the scout deal.
