This was on Gun last Sunday afternoon. They were calling for 20-35mph winds but it was worse.

We did a trip thru that area a while back. Had good luck on Eugene stayed at the narrows campsite there. Thought it was a nice site.

We fished Gun and only were able to pull a few small mouth from there. No lakers. The cliffs on Gun were cool as I remember.

yeah it was so windy on gun we only trolled for about 45 min, got one strike but no lakers caught a few smallies from camp, looks like the campsite is gonna have a bumper crop of blueberries though

We stayed at that site on Gun, May 21 & 22... nice site. No wind like that though... my buddy did get a nice laker along the NW shore.

maybe 15 minutes, then that night about 330am it blew like that again for about 45 minutes crazy weather

Had very similar experience on Gull Lake (the one over by Bald Eagle, not the one near Gun) on Sunday. Wind steady and strong all day with gusts over 30. We did not have to worry about mosquitos that day.
