I was at the store shopping the other day for my trip and found something new. Jif peanut powder. It is also 85% less fat. I mixed it with water and a dash of salt and it is pretty darn good. I think that will shave 6oz off my food pack.

Somehow I think you lose the weight loss advantage there.

It seems to be pretty much the same as PB2, which to me has utility as a flavoring agent.

But is not a substitute for regular PB, which I'd take as a calorie-dense food. Powdered PB loses that advantage when the fat - the vast majority of which is healthy monounsaturated fat - is removed.

I will have to try it in ice cream though. It works well added to coconut milk, oatmeal, etc.

What store did you find it in?

Not if you walk a few miles to the store to get the ice cream. You can lose weight on a 4000 calorie diet if you burn 4500 calories a day.

+1

I don't bring PB for the taste but rather for the fat and calories.
