Over the years, I have lost a couple of items and found a few more. None lately. How many success stories has this thread coupled items with owners?

This year my tiny Fitbit fell off my belt on portage entry in the gravel. We were double portaging and on my trip back we came across a guy and he mentioned it was a long portage. I said jokingly I wouldn't know because I had lost my Fitbit. He said he had found it and it was in his shirt pocket at the end of the portage. He said to tell his girlfriend to get it for me. She was shocked when I walked up and said hey lady give me my Fitbit. I offered to give her some reward money and she politely declined. They had a couple of young kids with them and I slipped them $20 and told them when they got to town to buy the adults a beverage as a thank you from me.

Cool story-Today I stopped at the White Pine Picnic Area (25 miles north of Two Harbors up county road 2) to let the dog run around a bit. I saw a potato chip bag and went to pick it up and then saw a bunch more garbage that someone threw behind a large log. I picked that up too and as I did I found a hotel receipt with a name and address on it. I plan on shipping his garbage back to him.
