Have to be in Novi, MI for training this week and got a phone call at 2:30 am this morning that my flight had been cancelled. Have to be here so took off this morning on a 700 mile drive.

Just as a got into Michigan, someone passes me waving and holding up a napkin that says BWCA.com and JoeWilderness.

They must have seen my flying moose on the back of the truck.

Leslie and I were returning from a baptism in New Lenox, IL when I mentioned to her, " Honey, do you notice anything familiar on that truck in front of us?" She looked up and instantly replied, "It's a Flying Moose!" She got so excited and just had to say hello!

We both sure hope that you enjoy your visit here in Michigan. Have a great time Kevin!

That photo was taken at the start a solo trip on the Big Manistee River just west of Grayling, Michigan. This is way upstream and the river is not yet very big;but,it sure does have a good current.
