heard this interview in the truck.... If you remember the movie "Gifted Hands" about this pediatric neurosurgeon...this is the guy.

hope I don't get in too much trouble for this....

biggest point is the effect on a kid when he is forced to turn the TV off and read a book.....changed his life

We didn't have a TV in the house when raising my children and still don't have one today.

TVs Large waste of time with very little good and lots of bad.
