Those don't seem too egregious.

Glamping Alert! :-)

Just kidding Gagbwi. Have a great trip and catch loads of fish. And don't forget to post some photos when you get back.

Ok your taking a depth finder and a chair, but you said you were taking two luxury items you forgot to say what they are.

I'm also taking a second sleeping pad, a fold up chair in a bag type, and Peppermint Schnapps.

Oh! You just reminded me of an old peppermint schnapps recipe I've made in the past with peppermint extract, sugar, and 190 proof Everclear. Yes, yes. Must have a small pint of this with us. I'm not typically a drinker on trips but this sounds good for a nice clear evening around the fire.

As for luxury items this year? I'm bringing my new Goal Zero Guide 10 w/ solar panel to charge my GoPro camera.

Thinking about splurging on a change of underwear and small bar of soap, but I don't know it's only 13 days....

Nah... leave the soap behind and you can always turn your undies inside out.

Of course this is thinking that it is a solo trip. If not your trip mates may have a different opinion!!

Jeemon- excellent use of egregious!

My luxury item was a battery pack to recharge my kindle, phone (camera), and GPS.

I did also bring my REI flexlite chair, but with a bad back I don't consider that a luxury, I consider it a necessity.

I am thinking that I will be taking a folding chair on my next trip. Never have taken one before, but the rocks and log benches seem to be getting harder the older I get!

My Kermit chair is by far and away the winner here - and worth every ounce!

I went a little nuts and procured 4 flex-lite chairs so that the wife and two kids could have their own. The way it usually goes is, if there isn't enough for everyone, I'm the one who doesn't get to use it! ;)

Oh, and I also got the kids their own hammocks so they stay out of mine!

Sounds like you have a training issue... Someone (High school kid) tried that with my chair over MemDayWknd... Didn't take long for him to get the not so hint, hint. "I brought my chair for ME to sit in...you go sit in YOUR chair...that you didn't bring!"
