MY response to Shocks question about the cast iron pans takes a more personal angle. Back in my youth [early married years] I found out that cast pans seem to fly with much more accuracy than the lighter alum pans, I may or may not have been aggravating my wife and when struck by a cast pan they have a very noticeable RING when they hit hair and bone, but they don't leave any lasting damage and ...uh, well, sortof, nope, I'm back on track again. Now after almost 40 years of being married you'd think the wife would have acquired a sense of humor but she still keeps at least one cast pan in the kitchen. FRED
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fourtune to remember the ones do, and the eyesight to tell the differance.

my wife threw a phone at me in our first year. it missed my head, but went through the drywall and fell down to the framing studs. I patched up the drywall, but the phone is still there. I would like to see what a future archaeologist will have to say about that when they dig up my house.

Or when the next person to own your house keeps hearing the phone ringing from inside the wall!
