I leave tomorow for EP 16. I was wondering if any one had any last min. sugestions. Things to do in ely, etc. This will be my first BWCA trip W/O a parent, so it should be quite an adventure.

Have lots of fun and take care. Come back tired. Don't do any silly risky stuff now that you are parentless. Catch an extra walleye for me. Good luck!!

chadwick, when do you get back? I would love here the report. I leave in 13 days through EP 16 to Iron Lake. Hope your trip goes well. Make sure to take advantage of the campfires.

Have fun! Wish I was going up again! At least you can have a campfire. Hopefully the Moose and Boulder river levels will be higher than they were for us in May. I will look forward to hearing how much better you had it then we did.

Just got back from a few days at Agnes/Oyster/Boulder and the fishing was very good. Walleyes in 12-15 feet, smallies hitting top water lures and streamers, more pike than you know what to do with. Only the lake trout were finicky -- tended to be at 65 feet and not hungry.

Get a burger at Stony Ridge. My favorite is the Ridge Special, but they're all good.
