The forest service site currently lists (as of the time of this posting) the following:
All entry points are closed except:
entry points along the Echo Trail (including Mudro);
#25 Moose Lake (travel allowed only up the chain and to the west);
#26 Wood Lake;
#24 Fall Lake;
the whole Trout Lake section (separate section south of the Echo Trail);
#42 Brule ONLY;
#54A Seagull ONLY;
#55A Saganaga ONLY;
and the Vento section (small separate section northeast of the Gunflint Trail).
Anyone out there familiar with Vento and Echo Trail able to list other entry points--by number--that are still open?
I hope to head up there for the first time of the year next week. If that doesn't work, I'll head up during the first week of October.
Thanks.

One way to get a certain answer to any EP you are considering is this. Just go to recreation.gov and try to reserve a permit for your desired EP like you normally would. If the box (where the # of available permits is) has a "C" that means that EP is closed until further notice.
I believe points located in the Arrowhead (such as #58 South, #62 Clearwater, #68 Pine etc.) are still open as well as those that are listed.
EP's by number west of Ely. 1,4,6,7,8,9,12,14,16,19,20, & 23.
