God I love that feeling, when you're driving down the road, and you look up, out the windshield, and see the front part of your canoe tied there. I LOVE that feeling.

Even when I have to pick up my brother's aircraft carrier the day before, and am just running errands before our trip, seeing that canoe on the car, puts a hop in my step, and a smile on my face.

Today (17th) is our 18th anniversary, we've been together 24 1/2 years. There are lots of reasons why I'd like to have a chance to do those years over, but mostly, so I can spend another 24 with my wife. I thank God she married me, and continues to be with me. She has saved my life in so many ways. I feel blessed.

Approaching? We get farther from 25 every year. Last May marked 37 years of marriage, 39 years together.

Oh, Leslie and I have only been married four years. We do however both feel that we got it right this time. Ha!
