Can't tell if it's a Nile or an Australian salt water

It seems to be in its natural habitat. Abandoned and floating in weedy muck.

Slimy bugger, I'll bet it's Dundee's!

I'm tempted to say, "What a croc," but I won't. Dundee would probably say, "Now this is a croc" as he puts a monster in a headlock.

Gbusk, someone found your other shoe!

03/28/2011 08:54PM
Gator found too.

Based upon the location of the sighting, I'd guess that is a "freshie," as the aussies say.

Can you make a day pack out of it?

Crocs do inhabit South Florida. But the one in the picture tworke posted scares me the most.

03/29/2011 03:05PM
It looks just like the ones I take to the BWCA. However, I am not missing one.

03/29/2011 04:46PM
Actually all you would have to pack to catch this gator is marshmallows.

03/29/2011 08:04PM
What a monster!!! By the looks of it I'd say it is a foot...

I think my wife has a croc just like that one with a matching fanny pack she wears when we go canoeing.

Oh, by the way, I learned the very hard way; DON'T WEAR CROCS WHEN PORTAGING!!!

I'm just glad I didn't come out with a broken ankle. They're were great for around the camp shoes, but not for big guys like me carrying packs over wet boulders and tree wads.

03/30/2011 09:02PM
love this haha!

03/30/2011 09:15PM
I've heard of them in the Nina Moose River...

Twice now, when I've seen this subject in the forum my first thought has been "hope you find the person that lost their sandal."
