Not my truck or canoe, just a funny picture for your enjoyment.

Cripes! I hope it was at least on the way home after the canoe trip.

Huh...I always thought those cedar strippers looked kind of fragile.

I am left wondering "How ..."

There's an expensive pile of kindling you could split without a hatchet!

I have no feelings for the vehicle, but think of the hours some poor soul spent lovingly building that canoe....

:(

It's a shame to see that canoe destroyed. I can tell the vehicle suspension was altered to raise the body for more ground clearance. I understand why folks do this, but the chance of rollover increases significantly.

Thanks for the photo bumabu.

OWW!!!

For some reason, after seeing the picture and reading the above comments, only now do my thoughts turn to the vehicle's occupants. I sure hope they got out OK.

But that canoe.... I fairly weep....

I re-looked at the picture blown up. I thought it was a Kevlar canoe. Now I'm sad for the guy that put all that blood/sweat and tears into that stripper.

Hey maybe there is another stripper on the other side of the vehicle that we can't see. That would be a double tragedy.

where did you find this photo?

How sad. That looks like a really fine craft.

quote Savage Voyageur: "Bummer, hope all is well with the driver/passengers. "

Only "funny" if they made it out OK.

I can't think of any circumstance where that would be funny.

Ouch!
