I finished Lost in the Wild and sent it on to someone else. What a fantastic way to share books with people who have so much in common! It says alot about the type of people who frequent this site when you can send something to a total stranger and know, that at some point, you'll get your property back!!
That said, I would like to offer one of my books. It's Root Beer Lady - the story of Dorothy Molter.
Let's do this the same way that Lost in the Wild is going around. When you finish it, seek out someone else who would like to read it. Also, leave a little note on the inside covers - preferably on a sticky-note but I wouldn't care if you write right on the inside cover.
Other than that, please treat the book as if it is yours. I'd like to be able to read it again someday.
Who's first??

That's true...we only have three in the whole state...but that's only because we had to give our coloring books to those folks in Ohio to use...the fewer the words the better. Too funny...good thread.

I have a copy of the Root Beer Lady also. I can also share it if you like and it doesn't create a problem with 2 copies going around. I wish I had read it before our last trip since we stopped at her island. it is a good quick read.

Hi Bloomingtonsteve,
Book was just sent to Kanot, thanks again for making it available. I enjoyed it very much and now realize that Knife Lake will be a trip to make in our future.
