My wife saw these paddles and Canoecopia. She liked them and we bought a set for only $60.

I have been using a Bending Branches Cruiser, bent shaft paddle. I really like that paddle.

What can folks tell me about the ottertails? I want to like them. Please tell me all the advantages of the ottertails.

I've not used one, but sources say they are good for deep water paddling.

I'm a voyager and beavertail paddler myself. All pun derivations completely intended. :)
