We have made plans to go camping at Fenske Lake next August with daytrips and museums and what not. She is actually getting excited to go and doesn't seem worried though she does say she doesn't want to be overnight in the bw.

Yesterday she looked on the web for a nice BW picture and she's put it on as her wallpaper. I'd say that's a good sign. ;-)

Looks like you are getting steps forward, even if they are baby steps. Good Luck!

Children can be very resilient. Baby steps maybe, but they could turn into "Dad lets go to the BWCA". One can only hope. Are you prepared? Good luck and have fun. Todd

My daughter asked if she could join me on a trip about the time she was starting high school (I had been waiting for her to show interest!). Had the worst weather ever - on our first trip but, she couldn't wait to go back. We've been going for a number of years now, but it's getting harder and harder as she finishes college. I'll have to treasure every trip, as long as they last.
