I always take a little time to enjoy a full moon. Some cold nights I don't take much outdoor time, but put my nose against a window.
Love the shadows on the snow.

Pray for your police and special education teachers. There really is something to lunacy.

I'll be happy when the new moon gets here. Or 0700 tomorrow, whichever comes first. :-) Friday night + full moon = :-O

It is beautiful, though. Always reminds me of a September evening paddle down to Nina Moose after a nearly all-day wind delay on Agnes. The full moon was a God-send!

Also known as the "Old" moon. This moon is the closest to the earth of any moon of the year. (and the brightest!)

I just heard on MPR that tonight's full moon will be the brightest one of the year.

Around 5:30 it was low in the sky and huge. I felt as if I could drive right into it.

Cool. Not only that, but it's a blue moon as well. Time to get out the 22x binos.

Thanks for posting. Reminded me to take a moment and look at the 'Old Moon'. I'm ready for the 'Flower Moon' too!

Um, sort of wary of asking, but what the heck is the Flower Moon?

Answering my own question-- I googled Flower Moon. Had no idea that the full moon in May was called that. Very cool. Reminds me that I will be in the BW in May and the Lunar Calendar says I will be there to see it-- May 26:)
