I dunno W&W, my Grandmother always said "When the days begin to lengthen the cold begins to strengthen". January's usually colder than December.

If I didnt ice fish, then winter would have no redeeming qualities for me other than it looks pretty from inside the house. But i noticed when im doing stuff with the horses outside i dont seem to get cold hummmmmm . p.s. Im glad the days will start getting longer.
