For the birders out there, we have this big fellow stop by the backyard often. He is eating us out of house and home though.

Does anyone out there do much birding in the BWCA? If so, what are you looking to see?

I love looking for the usual like eagles, hawks, grey jay, loons. I also like looking for songbirds white-throated sparrow, ground sparrow, phoebe, grossbeaks of all kinds. I am always looking for birds and other wildlife. I like to paddle near shore and take my time some days to try to catch a glimpse of wildlife.
