Northwoods Volunteer Connection is looking for volunteers for its 2021 projects in the Boundary Waters and the Superior National Forest.

As many of you know, staffing in the Forest Service not been able to cover all of the work that needs to be done in the Boundary Waters, so this is a great way to help out and give back to the Wilderness Area we all know and love.

Firmly on the calendar are a trail clearing trip on the Banadad Ski Trail from July 9th-July 14th and a trail clearing trip on the Sioux Hustler September 3rd-7th. More trips in the works including portage clearings on the Pine-Stump and Rose-Rove portages, as well as a rock work project and portage clearing on Daniels lake.

Tools, PPE, leadership, canoes, and per diem provided. Some camping gear available for a limited number of volunteers.

For more information, you can visit the website at www.mnnvc.org or email info@mnnvc.org
