Wondering what the ice conditions are now. Planning on heading out next weekend.

I was out ice fishing on Snowbank last weekend (1/24) and there were large pockets (100 yards square) of knee deep slush. We buried the snowmobiles a couple of times. I think if you were skiing or snowshoeing you maybe okay. I'd stick to well traveled snowmobile trails.

Gaiters are a must.

Alot depends on what lake you're on. Farm and most of the White Iron Chain are now slush free (for the most part)
