It looks good and is nice for the layman and I have been associated with similar things for years-- whatever drives your confidence in the weather; but in all honesty (working in the field for 20+ years) not that accurate even when it says "real time" Aviation weather below is near real time and accurate enough (that I have a job) and for commercial FAA traffic. (BUT I DONT MEAN TO STEAL THE THREAD- JUST ADDING MY .02. ) For wind temps cloud cover currently happening use the following- Current weather
for future forecasts I would lean on this example from NOAA (in this case for downtown ELY)
Ely hour by hour forecast
Just my .02. Enjoy the weather; it's the only weather you got.

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

WW do most of the weather sites/apps base their forecasts off the NOAA models anyway?

100%-- all computer/automation generated with little/ if any human augmentation. Which is a big deal. The human interaction/augmentation you will get with apps is little to none. It's why I reccm the NWS and reading their area forecast discussions every 12 hours--- (or more so in severe weather )seen here
The lingo is a little too far weather nerdy at times- but is the real deal. Any questions about them I can answer.

I use their forecasts 99% of the time. Sometimes I will check out a couple local meteorologist's for wind forecasts. They have 30 years experience in our area.
