sorry, but I have no more pics of this portage. I was too busy sweating! Going SE is much harder than going NW on this portage.

Hard to believe I actually did that one with my 14 year old son around 1999. I was the "lucky" one who portaged the canoe. Afterwards, I swore I would never do it again. And, I have not. Tough trip, about 2 weeks after the 1999 blowdown. We started at Brule, headed north through Davis, and came back to Brule through the Cones. Had a very harrowing, windy trip across Brule back to the entry point.
