08/01/2007 07:50AM Lures, filet knives and your own food are no problem. No guns, bear spray or leeches however. Rules will change next year, but honestly I've never had a pack and contents inspected. I adhere to whatever rules they lay down |

07/21/2007 08:17AM Yes, you can cross the border with your own dehydrated food. You are allowed to bring reasonable amounts of food for your consumption or that of your party. It won't be an issue unless you bring it up. Just be pleasant and answer their questions. Don't volunteer more info. |

07/21/2007 07:36AM After all the things I am hearing about crossing the border something else occurred to me. Are you allowed to cross the border with your own dehydrated food? Every year I make my own food for BWCA dehydrated it and pack my own food pack. Has anyone crossed the border with their own dehydrated food? |
