02/16/2016 08:52AM If you stick to the dog sled trail, you shouldn't have any issues. If you do, it will be just south of Muzzle lake, crossing the creek there. I have gotten wet there running dogs a number of times. But, you should be able to go off trail for a bit and find a place to cross the creek without to much issue. You could also check with either Kelly Murphy (Murphy's sled dog adventures) or Bob Oliva (Basswood Bob's Guide Service), both of them run into Ima/Thomas. |

02/15/2016 10:01AM I will have to look at my map,but there was a winter route that varies substantially some from your summer route. |

02/15/2016 09:54AM Thanks, Pinetree. The dog sled trail is appealing. The map appears to show some narrow water crossings after disappointment lake. Do you think this warm winter could cause us problems on that part of the route? |

02/15/2016 08:53AM Use to do it all the time. Was also a good sled dog trail to follow and other peoples pulling sled trail. Was pretty easy going.Been 10 years since I been that way. |
