Thanks Andy! Hope all is well at Tusc, I worked there about 10 years ago for the previous owners, great place.

Considering the border closure that will still likely be in place, I would imagine that you won't see many, if any, snowmobiles between Moose and North. As you know, they are prohibited on the USA side and access is pretty difficult on the Canadian.

Curious if people know it is common to run across snowmobilers in the winter time from South Fowl to Gunflint Lake?

My brother and I are considering skiing the boarder route over a few days in early March. We would start on at McFarland and take the snowmobile trail to South Fowl and then follow the board route all the way to Gunflint Lake. I would expect to run into snowmobilers on South/North Fowl Lakes at the start and then again on Gunflint Lake at the end. That said I am less sure about the lakes in-between.

Moose Lake
Mountain Lake
Watap Lake
Rove Lake
Rose Lake
South Lake
North Lake

Anyone have any sense or knowledge? I am not certain either what the laws are on these lakes as they are not part of the Quetico. We are looking to pick a route that is remote and snowmobile free, just not sure on this front.

Thanks in advance.
