Reminiscing...
This BW hang was a tight fit, with the trees a little close together and the logs underneath up against me the first night. This was Wind Lake, on the way out from Basswood to Moose (I've edited this post a couple of times to correct my memory of the location). Good fishing from the site and around the bend. I like the bigger tarp but it can be a challenge at times. There was a site on this lake that had no useable trees. These trees were a little close together for the tarp, and I hung the tarp the short way (I think it's a 10x11'). To get away from the logs I just raised the hammock for the second night. A heavy rain one night never touched me. Wish I could have gone this year.
The Aruba trip was nice, but too sunny for the hammock most days, and not enough shade for the hang. Pretty cool to use the hammock anyway.

After a 45 minute storm that dumped about 2 inches of rain and lots of wind. Camp was a pool but hammock was dry in my new Super Fly with the doors closed. Wind came directly at the end where the doors where closed. Glad I bought the new fly.

Sorry I don't have any pictures - my NX 150 is in the mail and should be here on Tuesday.
I'll have a picture in 48 hours, and it will be my favorite hang - since it will be my first. ;)

Well, my first hang under my belt.
Went to the three day Minnesota Traditional Archery Rendezvous, where I was a featured demonstrator for knife forging.
Only had my new NX 150 for three days.
I can tell I need an under quilt.
Behind it is my Cabela's Shower which is such a luxury I can't even explain it.
Anyway, I sure hope I can get to the B'dub soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 on the Superfly. A little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. That's the first time I saw the camo pattern. Pretty cool. I'm always interested in what tarps look like from inside when the sun is out.
