I think a 0 degree would be overkill. If I was doing Q next week I would go with a down 20 degree underquilt and down 20 degree top quilt. If needed, one can always wear some Smartwool long underwear and wool socks to stay toasty warm.

I will be in quetico later this week, I have a ridgerunner and this winter picked up a zero degree underquilt and havnt used it yet, I used a 20F underquilt last fall and got cold a little bit when it got to mid 30's. Not sure i want to pack in a zero degree, anyone use a warbonnet zero degree lynx before, or any zero degree underquilt in the spring, any thoughts on if it was too hot, temps look to be in the 40's, maybe high 30's, but you never know.

I am not familiar with that quilt but I would definitely pack my Mount Washington in those temps. I was camping last weekend and night temps were in the low 40s.

Mount Washington 3 - 20 degree F. Sorry...just re-read your first post. I would think a 20 degree underquilt would suffice.

+1. I’ve used a 20 degree top and under Q for a few May trips and would moderate my temp as needed with clothing.

My guess would be you don’t have it all snugged up to the hammock. At least that is what I did initially. My 30 deg is good to every bit of 30 deg now.
