My son-in-law was supposed to take one of the canoes on his jeep, but that did not work out so I spent the weekend frantically building a double canoe rack for my truck. I think it turned out OK. Probably over-built, but I feel good that the two canoes are very secure.

I have to rig something next week to carry 2 canoes but on a minivan.
I found tons of great info in past threads and a couple of pictures to help me with my plan. I may have to "borrow" your foam padding idea!
