Well? How was it?

Good. Goopy. Big daughter loved it. Little daughter took one look and said heck no! LOL
I added peas and while not only improving the look of the dish, it was tasty.

How much does that make? (recipe in the main dish cookbook)

Nola, We used 1/2 box of stove top, a whole pkg of chicken and 1 envelope of chicken gravy for my husband and I. It was plenty for sure. It would have even been enough for the 3 of us if my kiddo was along. We have made it at home and she likes it but you could try it out on your kiddos at home if you are worried they'll reject it in the woods. Very easy to make :)
Good Luck, Kristy

I wonder if my kids would eat it. ;-)

Thanks!
For the little one, I just need to bring extra meat. Plain. That girl is a carnivore. I know she will reject this recipe, but B might not.
It is not really what I would normally make at home, but I'm willing to try it. ;-) I think I will add peas, at home (frozen) and in the woods (freeze dried).

I'll be interested in what MOgirl says but I make same thing and I'd say two adults. Filling, might stretch to three with a vegetable or side.

Some cranberry sauce or relish would be a great add. I wonder how that dehydrates.....

I'd bet it dehydrates fine.
Hmm, wonder where you could get some cranberry sauce packets??? LOL.
