In anticipation of a possible total fire/stove ban, what are some "no cook" dinner ideas? We typically do oatmeal/granola type bkfst, PBJ type lunch, but cook 1-pot dinners. Want to prepare 'just in case', in advance of our August trip.

Grain salad? Bean salad?"
Me neither. I've been out west in some national forests when all open flames were banned. Never seen it here. Personally I would draw the line at not being able to cook coffee!

Unlikely that there will be a stove ban as well. But if you want to investigate cold-soak meal options check out ultralight backpacking sites.
Here is one with ideas: Cold soak meal ideas
When I solo, I do cold soak oatmeal or my homemade powdered smoothies for breakfast. For dinner I just boil 2/3 C. water on a little alcohol stove (takes 2 minutes) and then add it to one of these meals: The Yummy Life

Put shoe string potatoes on your basic pb&j sandwich. Add a few strawberry slices and a leaf or two os spinach if you want fancy.
