Our group traveled Beaverhouse, Cirrus, Kasakokwog, Quetico, Cirrus, coming out on 7/16. On the portages, the mosquitoes were on the bad end of the normal range. On the camp sites, if exposed to wind, the mosquitoes weren't bad. With little wind in the evenings, the mosquitoes were fairly bad. We had a CCS bug shelter, which made a significant difference. Good luck on your trip!

Anyone been to Beaverhouse & Quetico Lakes recently to report on the mosquitos? I’m headed in this coming Thursday and wondering what to bring to combat them. Hoping the dry summer has kept them at bay….
Thanks for any info……..Justin

Spent 7/16 and 7/17 on Quetico came out Beaverhouse on 7/18. Skeeters were normal, there on portages and at sundown. Ankle biters there like always. Our trip was amazing from day one (7/6) temps were in the high 40's at night. I only used two Thermacell pads the whole trip and put deet on one time.

How is the flow coming out of Quetico into Beaverhouse? We're going in the opposite direction on Friday. Just wondering if the paddle up to the portage is fairly routine.
