YetiJedi: "I have a Nemo Dragonfly 3 - it's a really good tent, fairly lightweight, and pretty sturdy against storms. It's tied with my MSR hubba for my second favorite tent. First place goes to my copper spur.

No experience with the other Nemo tents on your list."

If you would not mind elaborating, I'd be curious why your Dragon Fly ties for second behind your BA Copper Spur? What about the Copper Spur do you like more, or what about the DragonFly do you like less? Weight? Ease of set up? Features? Stability?

Like the OP I have a Nemo Losi 3P, and while it has worked really well for me for several years, I am considering moving to something lighter, smaller to pack (the Losi poles are really long!), and something faster to set up - even if I give up some space and a small amount of strength. I'm leaning toward the Nemo Dagger 2P.

I am likely to have to part with my Losi 3P soon, and considering other NEMO tent options as replacement. Not other brands right now.

Can anyone comment on personal experience with any of the following models? I've read some reviews with concerns about being "fragile." I loved the Losi 3P for its size/space ratio (50sf)... Taking inventory of my gear to see what I actually need as a replacement. But these are under consideration, and YES this thread is focused only on NEMO options:

Hornet OSMO Ultralight 3P
Dragonfly OSMO 3P
Dagger OSMO 3P
Mayfly OSMO 3
Aurora 3 Backpacking
Aurora Highrise 4P (not backpacking)

No worries about the fabric? Some reviews claim it was way too fragile. Guess I will try to go to REI and see them in person, but if you haven't had any issues that's a good sign. Are you an innie or outie camper?

I just checked and the interior fabric is 10D ripstop so, yes, that is on the thinner side from other tents but also part of keeping weight to a minimum. I haven't had any problems and have several dozen nights sleeping in it with a couple of stronger wind storms. It should stand up to normal usage just fine. If I had to compare it, I would say it is a little more durable than my copper spur but a little less durable than the hubba hubba. For the nemo dragonfly, I use an outie as I think it saves the fabric a little wear and tear and I'm not worried about water leaking in.

Hope that helps!

Im curious why you are moving on from your Losi 3P. I have one as well and honestly the thing leaks a lot now and many things that were attached to the walls have come off as well. Honestly for the price I don't feel like I got value from it. Still wondering if resealing the seams would work. That said, I think it wore out too soon. Personally I've steered away from Nemo now.
