Thanks Mike. I just reserved the Birch campsite on Clark Lake in the Sylvania Wilderness for July 4-5. It will be my first time.

I stayed in Birch last August! There's good views of the night sky to the NW-E from the beach NW of the campsite. Lots of trails thru the woods.

Good to hear. I wanted one of the sites on High Lake, but only one is reservable and seems hard to come by. Considering that we're going July 4 weekend, I figured it would be best to not count on a walk-in site.

Better put in for bobcat now! A lot of smallmouth! Nothing huge but great fishing and a great site. My #1pick for Sylvania.

Sylvania is an intimate place with manageable sized lakes. No matter where you camp, you have access to the entire wilderness for poking around.

I just got off the phone with Bob from Sylvania Outfitters. As of today he is working on access off of private land onto Clark lake and perhaps one other one. Great news! I will post updates or call Bob at Sylvania Outfitters.
