I'm in southern Illinois as well. Not the hundred or so hummingbirds we had last year but we have 3 already. "

Sorry, was not logged in for the last post. Where in southern Illinois myceliaman?

Saw my first one today, northern Illinois. He made it in time as the honeysuckle vine will be blooming tomorrow.

Just saw my first hummingbird of the year. I have eight feeders up so far. I live right where I-80 crosses the Mississippi between iowa and illinois.

I'll keep an eye out. They should be here now...just west of Chi-town.

I thought they were here... It was a mosquito. Nice to know they'll be here soon.

Not yet here in NY 50 miles north of NYC--its been a cold spring, few bugs either, worried about my already-nesting flycathcers.

We have the Anna's hummingbird year-round here in central California. Lately, I have seen the black-chinned hummingbird arriving and the rufous hummingbird passing through.

We live on a hill about 760 feet higher than the surrounding flatland so it seems to take them a while longer to get here. But they are here now they have been around for about 2 weeks, one or two at a time. I only have out 3 small feeders but they are hitting them daily! West Central Arkansas, Russellville Area!

None here yet, but I have feeders out. Two Orioles have been here for a week but aren't very active at any of the feeders.

We just put ours out the other day too, as our new tenant kept buzzing around the windows for a day as if to say "Okay, let's get your butt in gear and feed me!"
