Grand Marais, Minnesota is on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Ely is considered the hub of the eastern side of the BWCA. Grand Marais is often the start and end point for a BWCA trip. Grand Marais is a small harbor town on beautiful Lake Superior. It is also home to available lodging and many outfitters which service the easter Bounday Waters.
