Enjoyed the stairs to this elevated site. As noted by others, the lake views were obstructed and the main tent pad was rocky.
The latrine itself was quite nice, but scrambling up and down the rock faces to get to it would not have been fun if wet.

Camp Notes:
Pros: nice elevation, great swimming area, shelter from wind and
not too much sun exposure, versatile site, site 769 a bit better,
but both are very nice.
Cons: view a bit obstructed by conifers of all types, tent pad
mainly rock, steep incline up to campsite

Camp Notes:
This nicely elevated campsite has two nice tent pads - one is open and breezy, the other is tucked down and protected from the wind. There is a nice sandy beach that makes swimming in this clear, cool lake a real pleasure. This site also has the nicest latrine you'll find in the BWCA (large square throne with a lid).
