i think i got one of the funky ones. heavier than expected. my wife bought it for me as a gift, i would have looked for a lighter paddle. anyhow it split, i've repaired it to good as new but it is now my Kinnickinnic river paddle.

Good for messing around at home. Durable to a point. Heavy. I'll take on future river trips.
