Hi everyone, I'm heading into Basswood Late May - June. This will be a much later trip for me than usual. I'm afraid my normal Walleye spots won't be productive as we usually fish around opener up there. Any tips on where and how to find the summer-eyes on Basswood? I'll be somewhere in the Pipestone Bay, Jackfish area. I might even head on over into Back Bay and Hoist. Thanks!!

Fish the bays with the wind blowing into them.
I've fished a lot on this lake and make sure you bring live bait with you. Sometimes you don't need live bait but it is a perk.
You should have no problem catching fish on this lake at the end of May.
If you want some slab Sunnies and Crappies, Back Bay will be your best bet!

Good luck and enjoy!
I am jealous of not going at this time.
