How much do these solar panels used on canoe expiditions cost? Looks like a good idea for charging up the cell phone,camera, kendal and other electronics. Or is just not worth it?

I think if I where on a FarNorth trip I would get one, but for general BW/Quetico use no need.

I've heard people not being able to charge certain things after they get out there. We used one a couple years ago and it worked ok at best... about an eighty dollar unit. Most my electronics take AA or AAA batteries and it's just as easy to carry extras for the 10-14 day trips I take. Usually don't take a cell phone into the bush.
