Looking for any info on that 180 rod portage - heading from Snipe to Missing Link. Trying to avoid the Tuscarora to Missing Link 366 rodder. Thanks - JIM

Jim, go to www.quietjourney.com and look into their portage database. They have the Missing Link to Snipe portage listed, and others as well...

Tuscarora to Missing Link is long but not overly difficult. Don't avoid it just because of its length.

This past weekend I had the 160 rod portage between Tin Can Mike and Horse as the longest portage and it was by far the easiest of the portages. The shortest portage (Mudro to Sandpit was by far the hardest and it was only 60 rods. I would have rather done the 160-4 times then the 60 rod once or twice.
