My first trip of the season is two weeks out; what a great way to celebrate the end of the school year by heading into my first PMA! Spending the night before put in at Tuscarora, and I think they have new owners since the last time I was there about 7 years ago. Can anyone confirm this?

I am starting to go through my gear, and this I find immeasurably joyful. At the same time, I find it hard to concentrate on much else, and this drives my wife crazy. I cannot wait to scratch that itch!!

Tuscarora does, indeed, have new owners. Have a great trip and stay safe.

My son and I go in in one week! Primetime walleyes!

Andy McDonnell and Ada Igoe are the new owners. both very knowledgeable of the area.
andy grew up on hungry jack lake, his parents, Jack & Sue used to own HJO before selling to current owners Dave & Nancy Seaton.
ada grew up in grand marais.
they are a fun young couple, perfect as the new owners of Tuscarora.

When I talked to Andy, he seemed incredibly upbeat, energetic and very nice! Looking forward to meeting them, and I hope they have a lot of success with the place.

That's what I thought too. I have been dealing with it for 2 weeks now. It is miserable stuff!
