We had a great trip, only frost one night and a little windy one day, other wise we had good weather for our five days, we had a nice breakfast the 1st morning with the bacon Ben gave us at wing camp out(Awesome, thanks Ben) I watch all the sunrises all the mornings we were there(Lot of pic), we were on the wrong side of Vern for sunsets, but I watched the moon come up a few times.

We loved the new used Sundowner canoe we bought this year, paddled like a dream and easy to portage, we went day tripping a couple times and it paddles good empty or loaded.

This was the 1st trip in to the Boundary Waters where we didn't see another person the hole trip(Peaceful), at the end of our trip we hook up with nctry(Ben) and Hawbaker(Karen) for lunch in GM and a little shopping.

Perfect fall weather and no people. Can't ask for much more.

Dina seemed pretty happy... except she wants an exped 19 next time. The 9 didn't do it.

Glad to hear you had a good trip. That area's at the top of the list for my daddy/daughter trips.

EP 40 Homer lake, easy entry, it would be good for beginners.

Your daughter would really like this area, and I hopes she's doing better.

I'm thinking I might have to bring her bed the next time, 4 nights is about enough for Dena.

Great pictures and glad you had a good trip. I was wondering if you were going to have some cold weather.
