Paddle night on Lake Nokomis weather permitting. I received word that we will have a paddler attending tonight that is from Finland, he is in town for an upcoming BWCAW Trip.

Come paddle your own canoe as well We tend to gather just on the north end of the beach on the west shore of Nokomis starting around 6:30 PM. Come join other paddlers and enjoy each others company and some high water. We paddle till the evening overtakes us.

It is always fun to see new hulls being enjoyed.

17 canoes on the water. A mix of old and new hulls, from restored ceder canvas to vacuum infused carbon fiber. Solo and Tandem canoes. The full moon rose and was silently overtaken by clouds. A good time on the water with some good folks. Nice new canoe Jeepgirl.

Dan, great time and really appreciate that you tee this up every week. Nothing better than spending a little time on the water with some like minded individuals. I definitly need to work on my skillset after watching some of you folks :)

Thanks Dan. I had a blast. Looking forward to next week. I want to learn how to paddle my canoe with a single blade.
