Took me a week to get it together. So it's up - hope you enjoy! Trip 2012
"Far more interesting than the chase itself is the observation, the study of the life histories of the strange and wonderful creatures of the wilderness." President Theodore Roosevelt
Sorry about that. I am trying to fix the problem. I may have to get some help as I was only able to add another line to the story. Perhaps my report is too long? Hope to have it fixed. Thanks for alerting me to the problem!

So it appears my report was too long! You were close to the end. I was able to edit and get the few more lines in so you can read the ending.
I had to leave out the part of actually arriving at our house to find the AC unit was frozen solid and it was 85 degrees in the house!
This was my first trip report posted so I am learning! Next time I will try the day by day posting, I think.
Thanks again Karen

The problem with day by day is you'll have to keep a journal if your memory is like mine and if you're keeping a journal, you're not witnessing. Plus, as someone who's paid to write, the last thing I want to do is write when I'm up north.
I do keep a journal. Then I clean it up when I get back. But sometimes I go several days without writing and have to ask my husband ..when did we see that? or what day did this happen, etc.
If I didn't take notes there would not be a trip report!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
